When I had first done this walk back in 2014 it was a simple out and back from Hart Street along a former railroad bed. Since then there was a property dispute and a section of the walk was cut off. Over time a west entrance was developed along County Street. The main trail, not blazed winds northward first to the edge of the property before turning east along a stone wall. The trail soon comes to a large open field on a small hill. On the other side of the hill is the railway bed . If you turn left here it will lead you to the Hart Street entrance. Turning right will lead you a few hundred feet before you come to a posted barricade. When heading back look for a loop trail on the left that leads to the edge of the wetlands. The trails tend to get muddy here and several species of birds were observed here including robins, red winged blackbirds, ducks, and geese.
