STATE MANAGEMENT AREAS

Rhode Island is the smallest state but has nearly 30 Wildlife Management Areas. Many of these areas offers miles of hiking trails. The Arcadia, Carolina, Burlingame, George Washington, and Nicholas Farm Management Areas are the most frequented by hikers. Keep in mind that all of these areas are open to hunting.
